How to play
Goal
The goal is to guess the secret date in the format YYYY-MM-DD in a maximum of 8 attempts. Each attempt must be a real date between 1900-01-01 and today.
Instructions
After each valid attempt, the color of the digits will indicate how close you are to the correct answer:
Colors indicate how many times a digit is repeated. Each digit will be marked as many times as it appears in the hidden date.

Think strategically and find the secret date!
Tips to solve it
- The first digit is almost always 1 or 2 and the month starts with 0 or 1: fix those fast and spend your guesses on the rest.
- Use a first date with eight different digits so every colour tells you something new.
- Remember the calendar limits: a day cannot exceed 31 and a month cannot exceed 12, which removes many candidates for the misplaced digits.
